The worship of God is at the heart of our life together.

Our worship is an offering in thanksgiving to God. It is an inspirational hour that shapes and empowers our witness in the world. Worship at Olmsted Community Church is a dynamic experience, with opportunities for joyful celebration and quiet reflection. Our worship is both traditional and contemporary, claiming the resources of a glorious past and blending them with the vitality of current offerings.

We focus on Scriptural teaching, thoughtful prayer, relevant preaching, inspiring music, and the participation of the entire congregation.

Our worship community is diverse, and we seek to engage worshipers of different ages, cultures, and lifestyles in prayer and praise that lifts them into the presence of God and invites God into their lives.

  • Saturday, 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, 10 a.m.

The Saturday service at 5:00 p.m. is held in the intimate worship space of our Chapel on the lower level from the parking lot entryway. Saturday’s service is informal and lasts approximately 45 minutes.

The Sunday service begins at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We particularly love having children worship with us on Sundays. Children are invited to come to the Chancel area for a special time together. Those seventh grade and under then depart for Sunday School. A Coffee Hour fellowship time often follows the Sunday service.

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month (and it’s adjacent Saturday).  We practice an open communion table, and all are welcome to take part.

Special services are held throughout the year. Announcement of these services is given through our weekly bulletin, The Bridge e-newsletter, and on the home page of this website.
