Giving Thanks: November 19

Thanksgiving is a time of joyful worship at Olmsted Community Church. Our service on Sunday, November 19 will have children processing and singing, a beautiful Thanksgiving altar to remind us of the bounty of God’s goodness, and an opportunity to help feed the needy after worship.

During our 10am service, children from Olmsted Community Preschool and our own Sunday School program will sing “You Are So Good to Me”, bringing the fruits of the season to the altar. Also during worship, we will dedicate our pledges of time and treasure to the Lord. After worship, join us in Fellowship Hall for Coffee Hour as we honor our many church volunteers, a group for whom we are very thankful.

The community Turkey Hunt begins in Fellowship Hall at 1 pm when routes are distributed. We need many drivers and gatherers to collect food items in a door-to-door effort, returning the food to our church to help prepare food baskets for those in need. The sorting effort begins at 4pm.

All are welcome!

“O give thanks to the Lord, for God is good!

God’s mercy endures for ever!”

-Psalm 107
